The Siyandisa Foundation Scholarship Programme is specifically designed to identify and support Grade 12 students, particularly black and female students, who demonstrate academic potential but lack the financial resources to pursue their educational goals.

Siyandisa Trust Scholarship Programme 2024
The Siyandisa Foundation is now accepting applications for the Siyandisa Trust Scholarship Programme for the 2024 academic year. This prestigious programme targets Grade 12 learners across South Africa, providing them with the financial support, resources, and guidance needed to excel in their academic pursuits and prepare for tertiary education.
Scholarship Benefits
The Siyandisa Trust Scholarship offers an extensive support package, including:
- Scholarship Pack: Recipients will receive a tablet with a protective cover, a backpack, a Vodacom data package, and various communication tools for video chats, webinars, and calls.
- Learning Resources: Over 50 hours of custom-developed video lectures across various Grade 12 subjects, along with support webinars and assistance with academic queries.
- Tutorship: Comprehensive university preparation and application support.
- Programme Support: Direct access to a dedicated programme coordinator team for assistance with coordination, administration, and support. All programme-related communication and activities will be centrally managed.
- Graduate Funding Support: During pre-graduate studies, recipients can apply for additional funding to cover expenses such as accommodation, books, registration fees, and travel. (Funding is provided through the Siyandisa Foundation Support Fund and is subject to application approval, terms, and fund availability.)
- Executive Development: High-performing students will be considered for additional academic funding, mentorship, bursaries, vacation work, and internship opportunities with Siyandisa’s partners. They may also be eligible for employment opportunities. (Opportunities are subject to application approval, terms, and availability.)
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Siyandisa Trust Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be entering Matric (Grade 12) in 2024.
- Have achieved a minimum overall average of 80% in Grade 11.
- Be enrolled in a quintile 1-3 school. (Quintile 1 schools are the most in need, while quintile 5 schools need financial aid the least.)

- Final Grade 11 report.

- Parents or guardians’ ID documents.

- School principal’s name, surname, and contact number.
