About MMEG – Margaret McNamara Education Grants
The Margaret McNamara Education Grants (MMEG) organization was established in 1981 with the mission to provide financial assistance to women from developing countries pursuing education in the U.S., Canada, and select universities in South Africa and Latin America. Named in honor of Margaret Craig McNamara, wife of former World Bank President Robert McNamara, MMEG is dedicated to empowering women by supporting their education and enabling them to improve the lives of women and children in their home countries.
