Selection Process

The selection panel at Netwerk24 will carefully review all applications, evaluating candidates based on their language skills, news sense, communication abilities, and general knowledge. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed, and the final scholarship recipients will be informed thereafter.

Upon graduation, scholars are required to complete an internship within Netwerk24’s editorial departments, lasting no longer than one year. Following the internship, scholars must fulfill a fixed-term contract with Netwerk24 for an additional year.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Matric Completion: Applicants must have completed Matric.
  • Undergraduate Students: Must be in their final year of studies toward a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma, preferably in Journalism or Communication studies.
